On Monday, June 12, at approximately 5 a.m., Millville police responded to the Rieck Avenue Elementary School in the 300 block of Rieck Avenue for an unresponsive male inside of a vehicle.
Police found the victim, Mark Hoffman, of Newcombtown Road, Millville, dead from an apparent gunshot wound, according to the Cumberland County Prosecutor's Office.
The investigation is ongoing and there is no known threat to the public at this time.
